The warm hospitality from the owners was so cute, especially with the freshly baked waffles upon arrival. The guesthouse was surrounded by fine natural beauty and offered a cozy living room and a spacious bedroom.

Access road is rough.

Liked the location on an old farm. Absolutely perfect and comfortable location, the breakfast was satisfactory with yogurt.

Fairly clean place with PLEASANT view over mountains and lava field. What a beautiful and amazing location in the morning the mountain surrounded is gorgeous! Right by a "private " river with a bridge and waterfall, a waterfall and an old farm.

quiet atmosphere , but long access road

The serene location was perfect for watching the Northern Lights, although we didn't see any this time. I appreciated the fresh waffles available in the spacious dining area, a good touch, made breakfast special. The communal kitchen was well stocked, made meal preparation convenient, and it fostered a friendly environment with other guests.

Getting to the guesthouse requires navigating a long gravel road that may be challenging for some.

Access road is a long gravel nightmare!!! Basic facilities in some rooms feel outdated. The kitchen needs better lighting. A kettle should be standard in a self-service kitchen, and don't get me started on the cleanliness of shared areas!!!

Extremely comfy bed, inviting and bright rooms. Good breakfast with a huge variety of options to choose from.

Location short walk to the Vatnajokul national park, a farm in a peaceful location, and a "private " river with a bridge and waterfall. Pretty nice room, very comfy bed and tidy bathroom.

Dalshoefdi Guesthouse provides a gorgeous and comfortable stay with clean as new rooms. The well-stocked kitchen enhances the experience. Homemade waffles for breakfast were a good touch. The guesthouse offers excellent information on nearby walks, and the view from the breakfast room is stunningly tranquil.

We had a lovely stay with homemade waffles waiting for us upon arrival, such a good surprise, and the room was clean and cozy. Relaxing in the garden and enjoying the BBQ facilities. The place is a bit off the main road, but that's nothing a little planning can't handle 🌟
